Description As a Sales Account Manager, you will be responsible for
the following key duties: Develop and implement a regional sales
growth strategy to expand into new territories and maximize
existing accounts. Identify customer needs and collaborate with the
Marketing department to develop innovative products that meet
market demands. Generate accurate revenue forecasts and work
closely with the Sales Director to create comprehensive budgets.
Promote Smiths Interconnect's products and capabilities to
potential and existing clients. Analyze key performance indicators
using the CRM system to track and improve sales performance.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers,
facilitating connections between Smiths' executives and key
customer contacts when appropriate. Represent the company at
industry events, technical conferences, and other sales-related
functions as directed by management. Qualifications We are seeking
a qualified candidate who meets the following requirements:
Extensive knowledge and experience in the semiconductor industry,
with a focus on connectors and test products Minimum of 5 years of
direct field sales experience in a relevant industry Willingness
and ability to travel up to 50% of the time, subject to current
travel restrictions Strong technical comprehension with the ability
to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
Proficiency in organizing and conducting virtual customer visits
and presentations Must be a US citizen or permanent resident to
comply with ITAR regulations for specific accounts The ideal
candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, sales
acumen, and strong interpersonal skills to excel in this dynamic
role within the semiconductor industry. Travel Requirement: 50%
(when permissible) Security Clearance: US citizenship or permanent
residency required (ITAR compliance) Additional Information Other
Requirements: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in
verbal and written form using the English language. Frequently
required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or
controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is
occasionally required to stand, walk, sit and talk or hear. Must
occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability
