The Client Services Representative works in coordination with other departments of the company to provide information, services, and assistance on various programs and activities applied for and managed by the firm. They will meet with client representatives, engineers, contractors, and elected officials as well as attend public hearings, city council and county commissioners' court meetings representing the company to gather and relay information and respond to questions. GrantWorks will provide support services and access to training, as appropriate, for the representative to provide high quality, efficient services. The Client Services Representative will report to the Director of Client Services and receive guidance on the purposes and functions of the work requirements provided by our firm.
The Client Service Manager will work with clients located in the Houston/Galveston, Brazos Valley and surrounding areas but may also be assigned other areas for travel purposes. The Company will furnish office equipment, work-related transportation, paid work expenses, and other essentials necessary for this position.


  • Cooperatively interact with state and local public officials and staff, business owners, engineers, the public and other involved parties via telephone, email and in person for public input and information gathering
  • Coordinate with GrantWorks' various departments on tasks including marketing, governmental body actions, public hearings, collection of documents and the like.
  • Retrieve and interpret documents such as governmental audits, resolutions, procurement documents, pre-construction meeting files, employee interviews for labor standards, and additional duties as assigned.
  • Attend and host meetings and workshops for local officials and other members of the community, including presentations to county commissioners' courts, city councils and other entities as necessary.
  • Assist in the collection of documentation for applications and grant management activities.

  • Strong computer skills are mandatory, including the ability to navigate and search the internet to retrieve information when required, use of Microsoft Word and Excel, Google Drive, Gmail and Calendars, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
  • Excellent verbal and written communication (including note-taking), interpersonal, and time management skills required
  • Able to work with numerous deadlines and "trigger" events
  • Creative thinking and problem solving to meet application requirements
  • Sales and Marketing background will be helpful.
  • Spanish speaking is a plus.
    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSCollege degree or equivalent work experience.2-5 years of work experience in a related field.

    Valid Texas driver's license and driving record will be required for travel.This position requires overnight travel.
