Job Description Member Service/Teller Summary: Under general
supervision, provides counseling to new and existing members in
regards to their various products, services and credit review
offered by the Credit Union by performing the following duties.
Reports directly to the Branch Manager. This position will be
located at our L3 branch Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Monday and
Wednesday this position will be located at our Waco office. Duties
and Responsibilities -- Assists and advises members in every aspect
of service to the member, including opening new products and
services. Assisting with debit/atm cards, closing of accounts,
opening of additional share accounts, research of member accounts
and issues, etc. -- Reviews members profile to ensure completeness
and accuracy of information. -- Informs members of loan
requirements and conditions affecting the granting of loans. --
Prepares and completes appropriate documentation for products and
services requested by member and required by Credit Union. --
Ensures all forms and documents are properly signed and member
understands debt responsibilities. -- Promotes new programs and
distributes literature to interested members in services not
currently being used in an effort to cross sell services. --
Contacts members via telephone or correspondence as frequently as
necessary to meet and surpass goals for the credit union and to
follow up on any service request and/or voicemails. -- Builds and
maintains quality relations with members and increase the volume of
sales and loans on a consistent basis through ongoing determination
of member requirements. -- Operates business equipment to include
but not limited to computers, calculators, typewriters and fax and
copy machine. -- Takes ownership of any concern, issue and service
for the member. -- Performs Teller functions when necessary or
required -- Acts as Vault Teller when necessary or required --
Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: To
perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to
perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed

required Language Ability: Ability to read and interpret documents
such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and
procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of
customers or employees of organization. Math Ability: Ability to
add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute
rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to
carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables
in standardized situations. Computer Skills: To perform this job
successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word, Excel
and Outlook. Education/Experience: High school diploma or general
education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Knowledge, Skills and Other Abilities: -- Ability to be
organized and pay attention to details -- Accepts and follows
directions well -- Ability to multi-task -- Ability to balance and
make mathematical computations without error -- Ability to handle
member correspondence regarding accounts both verbally and written
-- Ability to interact in a courteous and professional manner with
members and staff Physical Demands: The physical demands described
