The experienced Field Technician is primarily responsible for operating infrared (IR) cameras and doing leak detection surveys at various oil and gas facilities. This person will report survey findings to customer using multiple platforms to log results for sending paperwork. OGI techs will be surveying outdoor piping and equipment associated with oil and gas production facilities, midstream pipeline facilities, and gas plants. Starting salary is $65k per year plus a generous Profit-Sharing plan. Role and Responsibilities

• 
  
• Communicate findings with Alliance manager and customer representatives both verbally and in written reports
  
• Properly calibrate and maintain all monitoring equipment
  
• Perform daily operational checks of survey equipment
  
• Verifying with instruments the repair to leaks was successful
  
• Closure of completed surveys
  
  Travel: mobility and flexibility is required for this position. Travel will be required on a weekly basis. The majority of Leak Surveys OGI measurement sites are in oil and gas production fields and are often in relatively rural locations in the southern half of the US.
  Required Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
    
  • Valid driver's license in state of residence required
    
    Preferred Skills
    
    • 
      
    • Experience with Optical Gas Imaging is a plus, but training will be provided.
      
    • Familiarity with oil and gas production equipment is also a plus.
