Job Description Job Description Director of Annual Giving and
Parent Relations Trinity Valley School | Fort Worth, Texas
Full-Time, 12-Month Position About Trinity Valley School Trinity
Valley School (TVS) seeks an organized, relationship-driven
Director of Annual Giving and Parent Relations to lead the growth
and evolution of our Annual Fund and deepen meaningful engagement
with current parents and families. Reporting to the Chief
Advancement Officer, this role is central to advancing a culture of
philanthropy, partnership, and trust between the School and its
community. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves the craft
of fundraising and excels at execution. You'll manage the
day-to-day operations of the Annual Fund-drafting appeals,
coordinating volunteers, tracking progress, building donor
relationships, and ensuring every detail supports our goals. You'll
work closely with the Chief Advancement Officer to execute a
thoughtful, data-informed strategy designed to grow revenue,
increase participation, and expand leadership-level giving. The
right person for this role is someone who is highly organized,
relational, and motivated by results. You're comfortable asking for
money, skilled at building trust with parent leaders, and energized
by the mix of relationship-building and operational work that makes
an annual fund successful. You bring good ideas and strategic
thinking, but you're equally committed to rolling up your sleeves
and getting things done. This is an exciting moment to join TVS.
The School is strong and mission-centered, our Head of School
values advancement deeply, and our parent body is engaged and
generous. There's a real opportunity to grow leadership giving,
strengthen donor engagement, and help build a more robust culture
of philanthropy. What You'll Do Annual Giving Strategy & Execution
Manage the design and day-to-day execution of a comprehensive
Annual Fund program for parents, alumni, grandparents,
faculty/staff and friends of the School. Implement a segmented,
multi-channel solicitation plan, including direct mail, email,
digital campaigns, peer-to-peer outreach, and personal
solicitations. Draft compelling appeals, donor communications, and
stewardship materials in collaboration with the Chief Advancement
Officer. Personally manage a select portfolio of leadership annual
fund donors and prospects ($1,000) and conduct approximately 4-6
strategic donor conversations per month. Recruit, train, and
support parent volunteers to serve as peer ambassadors and
advocates for the Annual Fund. Oversee the Annual Fund calendar,
appeal schedule, and volunteer coordination Donor Engagement Build
and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective
donors, with a focus on retention, upgrades, and leadership-level
giving. Conduct outreach to new families and emerging prospects to
introduce them to the culture of giving at TVS. Coordinate
recognition efforts for donor societies including the Astra Society
and 1959 Club. Reporting, Data & Performance Tracking Maintain
accurate records and dashboards to track revenue, participation,
retention, and progress toward goals. Provide regular performance
updates to the Chief Advancement Officer and contribute to
board-level reporting. Work closely with Advancement Services to
ensure timely and accurate gift processing, acknowledgment, and
data integrity. Analyze donor trends and participation data to
inform outreach and segmentation. Parents' Club (PC) Liaison Serve
as the primary Advancement liaison to Parents' Club leadership,
attending meetings and fostering a strong, collaborative
partnership. Provide guidance and support to align Parents' Club
fundraising efforts with institutional priorities and Advancement
goals. Maintain a visible, relationship-centered presence within
the parent community. Who You Are You bring at least five years of
progressive nonprofit fundraising experience, ideally in an
independent school, higher education, healthcare, arts
organization, or other mission-driven setting. You have a proven
track record in annual giving, donor relations, and achieving
measurable results. Beyond the technical skills, you are: Highly
organized and detail-oriented. You manage multiple projects,
deadlines, and relationships with ease and follow through on
commitments. Relational and politically savvy. You build trust
easily, navigate complex dynamics with grace, and know how to
engage parent leaders authentically. Comfortable asking for money.
You see fundraising as an invitation to partnership and are
confident in making the ask. Execution-focused with good instincts.
You're thoughtful about your work, contribute ideas, and understand
the "why" behind what you're doing-but you're motivated by getting
things done. Emotionally intelligent and adaptable. You stay calm
and focused under pressure, bring a sense of humor to your work,
and thrive in environments that require flexibility. Collaborative
and team-oriented. You work well with others, communicate openly,
and are committed to building trust through quality work and
results. Deeply mission-aligned. You believe in the power of
education and are energized by TVS's values and vision. Committed
to growth. You're curious, reflective, and always learning. What
