Works as part of the production crew with a main focus onpreparing
the machine for the production run, according to the customer
order. Cleans and oils the machine daily. Orders pallets from the
Forklift Driver, according to theneed expressed on the schedule.
Responsible for having pallets at the machine for thefinished
products. Assists with running orders when the machine is ready
bywatching the run continue smoothly and without problem. If a
problem arises,such as machine failure, product quality is not to
standard, or a shortage ofpaper, this individual notifies the
operator of the problem. May need to workwith management,
maintenance, and other company employees to fix the problem.
Palletizes the product according to the shop card and/orin a manner
suitable for shipping. May be required to feed the machine on
occasion. Works with various production machines and basic
toolssuch as hammer and knife. Responsible for adhering to the ISO
procedures and takingdirection from the operator.
BasicQualifications: High school Graduate or GED and 3-6 months of
workexperience or training in the corrugated industry. Must be
authorized to work in the U.S. Knowledge,Skills & Abilities:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions andchecklists.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in allunits of
measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Able
tocompute rate, ratio, and percentages. Ability to deal with
problems involving a few concretevariables in standardized
situations. Demonstrated ability to read and understand a
tapemeasure. Must be able to stand, twist, climb, crawl,
reachrepetitively and lift and push up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled productionplant that is
a noisy environment and requires hearing protection (earplugs). PCA
