Overview of Position
The Partner Relationship Executive primarily serves mid-tier partners and is responsible for revenue retention and growth, partner satisfaction, new product sales, and relationship management across the entire breadth of a partners engagement with Change Healthcare. Uses in-depth knowledge of client industry and/or business processes, deep knowledge of the product being sold and technical expertise to drive and increase adoption and utilization of company products. Demonstrates product features beyond central functionality to help the customer achieve specific business results and maximum value from the product(s). May recommend specific solutions to achieve customers desired result. Holds direct responsibility for identifying opportunities and closing additional revenue from assigned clients, including upselling and cross-selling of related products, accountable for client renewal and retention results. Ensures best practices are adopted for product use. May handle escalations and coordinate across functional areas of the company, including Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Engineering, Finance, Training, and/or Support.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Ensures quality service and profitable business growth by managing a portfolio of complex partner relationships. Spends approximately 50% of time on growth and relationship management activities and 50% on operational responsibilities.

  • Maintains familiarity with assigned partners business in the context of the overall health care industry. Understands how the partner differentiates itself in markets and creates partner value by showing how the Change Healthcare portfolio can support/maximize their differentiation.

  • Consults with partners representatives to identify the strategic outcomes they are seeking to achieve and coordinates the engagement of users as well as functional and technical specialists within own and partner organizations.

  • Proactively and continually assesses, clarifies, and validates short-term needs and long-term partner objectives. Directs partner to solutions that address partner needs.

  • Through strategic account planning, creates and drives to completion partner specific revenue retention and growth strategies for assigned partners leveraging market share intelligence data, utilization reviews, value-based selling methods and facilitation of training and onboarding to ensure product adoption.

  • Serves as partner operational guide for all aspects of assigned partners both for existing and potential areas of partnership.

  • Coordinates operational and strategic activities internally to improve partner experience and strengthen corporate processes across Onboarding, Support, Sales, Partner Experience, Business Intelligence, Product, IT, Partner Communications, Billing and Finance and is responsible for coordination of activity across the Change Healthcare enterprise.

  • Maintains and expands relational footprint within assigned partners, focusing but not limited to Manager, Director, VP and C-suite contacts.

  • Responsible for partner satisfaction and cultivation of references at each partner within assigned portfolio.

  • Creates and delivers Business Reviews and Strategic Meetings with all assigned partners per corporate guidelines.

  • Maintains accuracy of partner documentation in all corporate repositories such as Salesforce, Siebel, Qualtrics and Contract Administration.

  • Serves as escalation point for operational disruption across all defined areas of partnership.

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelors Degree in related area of study or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum 3 years of customer-facing Account Management working within the Healthcare industry.

  • Proven track record of successful management, service and/or revenue retention and growth activities for complex customers or projects.

  • Professional and effective communication skills required including presenting in front of a large group, comfort with conversations at a leadership level, and ability to create clarity and improve collaboration at all levels within complex and diverse organizations.

  • Highly organized and capable of driving multiple projects to completion simultaneously.

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Ability to follow standard sales process to accurately forecast and convert opportunities into sales

  • Successful track record of working as a part of dynamic, fast-paced, and growing teams that are results oriented and collaborative.

  • Effective analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Web-based conferencing tools.

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

  • Physical requirements include general office demands

How much should I expect to travel?

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% - 50% of time.

  • Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
