This position will also provide guidance and support to business units and various departments across the organization, partnering with all branches pertaining to fixed assets, inventory and special projects.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Reasonable Accommodations Statement To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential Functions Statement(s) Review and establish departmental processes and procedures for Fixed Assets and Inventory functions of Shared Service CenterWork with the team and review/modify training to ensure assets are properly added and disposed and are posted timely and correctly per US GAAPManages the complete life cycle of company assets that are owned, leased or licensedOversee and ensure the monthly fixed asset close and consolidation process runs timely and efficiently in all environmentsAdminister and oversee the ongoing maintenance of the fixed asset softwareBuild and analyze departmental dashboards to allow strategic execution and growthManage company-wide inventory processResponsible for monitoring and auditing systems and transactions to identify, correct and prevent inaccuraciesTraining expert for Shared ServicesProvide accounting support and assistance for annual auditOversee and maintain subject matter expert role for Fixed Assets and InventoryWork with the Fixed Asset Manager to learn and support process in Sage for current and newly acquired organizationsManage Fixed Asset Manager and Inventory Accountant Assist and provide support to Shared Service Management Team pertaining to Fixed Assets and InventoryIn charge of employee performance evaluations, including contact reports or disciplinary write upsCommunication /Collaborationo Provide recommendations, gain consensus and implement solutions working with decision makers as necessaryo Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to articulate recommendations in a concise and timely mannerGood research and writing skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracyIntegrity/Ethics Deal with others in a straightforward and honest manner, accountable for actions, maintaining confidentiality, supporting company values, and conveying good news and badPlanning Develops realistic plans, sets goals, aligns plans with company goals, plans for and manages resources, creates contingency plans, and coordinates/cooperates with othersDecision Making/Judgment Recognizes problems and responds, systematically gathers information, sorts through complex issues, seeks input from others, addresses root cause issues, makes timely decisions, can make difficult decisions, uses consensus when possible, and communicates decisions to othersExceptional work ethic.RequirementsPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Bachelors Degree in Accounting or FinanceExperience: Five (5)+ years supervisory experience pertaining to general ledger accounting functionsComputer Skills: Strong computer skills in the operation of all programs used by the organization including Microsoft Word and ExcelWORK ENVIRONMENT Work environment varies from office to job site to industrial locations OUR CORE VALUESPassion to Perform - We are passionate to perform and focus on concrete achievementsTrust to Act - We are empowered to act, and act in a powerful wayAct Responsibly - We are responsible for our actions and the consequences they have for our stakeholders and our environmentMake it Fun! - We are serious about making work fun; it's the way we do thingsAn Equal Opportunity Employer.
