This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality finished parts by removing burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined components. Key Responsibilities Deburr, polish, sand, and finish machined metal parts Use hand tools such as files, deburring wheels, grinders, sandpaper, and abrasive pads Inspect parts for burrs, edges, and surface quality Follow blueprints or work instructions to verify specifications Work closely with machinists and quality control Maintain a clean and organized workstation Assist with general shop tasks as needed Qualifications Experience deburring and working in a machine shop Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to use hand tools and small power tools Able to follow written instructions and read part numbers Good handeye coordination and manual dexterity Willingness to learn and grow within the shop
