Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck for long and short hauls Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle, adhering to scheduled routes Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as per Federal, State, and local authorities as well as company policies Report defects, accidents, or violations Handle documentation pertaining to cargo, routing, and delivery Maintain communication with dispatch and support teams to ensure optimal operability Complete daily logs and submit reports of mileage covered and hours driven Proven ability to drive a manual transmission Strong time management and customer service skills Ability to work independently Knowledge of electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.) Ability to handle physical workload Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A) Current DOT medical card No recent moving or driving violations
