Job Description Job Description Our growing firm is seeking a well-qualified senior attorney who can handle commercial litigation/trial work, work as a team, and zealously represent clients both in and out of court. PTO/Substitution Work Day Compensation: $150,000 - $185,000 yearly base bonus Responsibilities: Lead litigation strategy for partnership/shareholder disputes, derivative claims, and other commercial litigation issues such as breach of contract claims. Handle TRO and TI hearings, including emergency filings, expedited discovery, evidentiary hearings, and enforcement actions. Manage all aspects of case development: pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, and trial. Advise business clients on dispute-prevention strategies, corporate governance, and settlement structuring. Supervise junior attorneys, paralegals, and staff on case tasks. Qualifications: Prior experience representing clients in trials, mediation, and arbitration Admitted to local and state bar associations Able to work independently while handling multiple files At least 5 years of experience working as a senior associate attorney Persuasive writing skills and verbal communication skills are critical, along with time management and interpersonal skills J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. 7 years of litigation experience, with a significant focus on partnership/shareholder disputes, fiduciary duty, business divorce, and emergency injunctive relief (TRO/TI hearings). Licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas (or willing to waive in). First-chair trial, injunction hearing, or arbitration experience strongly preferred. Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Strong business acumen and ability to advise clients on both legal and financial aspects of disputes.
