Job Description:
Infosys is seeking a Technology SAP ABAP Architect This position
will require a key player in engaging with business/functional team
in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to
client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support
knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding
consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing
needs of the global landscape. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's
degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited
institution. Will also consider three years of progressive
experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At
least 7 years of experience with Information Technology The
location is Fort Worth, TX. The Position may require travel and/or
relocation. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the

this role at this time. Preferred Qualifications Technology
Architecture & Strategy Define the target technical architecture
for S/4HANA (on?prem or RISE) including SAP BTP services (CPI, API
Management, Event Mesh, Workflow, Business Rules, Document
Management, Build/Apps) to enable clean-core extensibility.
Establish extension strategy: in-app (key user), side-by-side (BTP
CAP/RAP), and classic ABAP where justified; author the
Extensibility Decision Matrix and guardrails. Lead custom code
analysis & remediation: ATC, SCI, CVA results; address
simplification items, obsolete objects, SPAU/SPDD; move Z-code to
released APIs; migrate to RAP where feasible. Integration & Data
Design integration patterns for synchronous APIs (OData/REST),
asynchronous messaging (Event Mesh), and EDI/IDoc/ALE where
required. Govern SAP CPI/PO artifacts (iFlows, mappings, error
handling, retries, security, observability). Ensure robust
integration with MES, LIMS, PLM, Serialization/UDI, Labeling,
WMS/TMS, CRM, Tax (Vertex/OneSource) and MDG for master data
stewardship. Oversee data conversion tooling and strategy
(Migration Cockpit, SAP DS/IS, LSMW where applicable), data quality
checks, reconciliation controls, and archiving/ILM design. Fiori,
UX & Security Define Fiori enablement roadmap: app
selection/activation, catalogs/groups/spaces, theming, launchpad
performance, and offline/role-based UX where applicable. Enforce
security-by-design: roles/authorization (PFCG), SSO (SAML/OAuth2),
secure APIs (mTLS/JWT), data privacy, encryption at rest/in
transit, and GRC/SoD alignment. Align with 21 CFR Part 11
(e-signature & audit trails) and life sciences validation
expectations. DevSecOps, Quality & Performance Implement
DevOps/ALM: Azure DevOps/Jira boards, gCTS/CTS, branching/transport
strategy, automated ATC/CVA gates, unit tests, peer reviews, CI/CD
pipelines for ABAP and BTP (npm/mta/maven). Define coding
standards, performance guidelines (SQL monitor/ATC checks,
SAT/ST12), and resilience patterns (idempotency, retries, bulk
processing, queueing). Set up observability: logging/trace/metrics
(CA APM, Dynatrace, Cloud ALM, SolMan), alerting SLAs, and
non-functional testing (load, soak). Platform, Basis & Operations
Partner with Basis on SUM/DMO strategy, maintenance planner/stack
XML, kernel/SNOTE governance, downgrade protection, and downtime
optimization (nZDM/ZDO where applicable). Define high
availability/DR, job scheduling strategy (SM36/Redwood/Control?M),
interface error-handling, and runbooks for support. Own cutover
technical workstreams: mock conversions, dress rehearsals, data
load windows, interface freezes, and rollback/contingency plans;
transition to hypercare with clear KPIs. Compliance, CSV & Audits
Embed CSV deliverables: risk-based validation, traceability from
URS ? FS/DS ? OQ/PQ, evidence for changes, and electronic
records/signatures controls. Ensure SOX control adherence for
transports, access, change management, and production deployments;
support internal/external audits. Leadership & Vendor Management
Lead a team of onshore/offshore developers, integration and BTP
engineers; coach on modern SAP development (RAP, CAP, Fiori
Elements). Manage System Integrator deliverables, code quality
SLAs, and technical debt burn-down; arbitrate design decisions and
escalate risks. 10 years in SAP technical architecture/development;
3 large programs in enterprise landscapes. Hands-on experience in
at least one S/4HANA brownfield conversion (ECC ? S/4) as
technical/development lead or architect. Deep ABAP OO, CDS, OData,
RAP, performance tuning; experience with SPAU/SPDD, ATC/CVA
remediation, released APIs/whitelists. Strong BTP knowledge (CPI,
API Mgmt, Event Mesh, CAP/Node.js or Java, Workflow/Business
Rules), and Fiori/UI5 (Fiori elements, freestyle). Proven
integration architecture across on?prem and cloud, including
security patterns (OAuth2/SAML, certificates). Familiar with DevOps
tooling: gCTS/CTS, Azure DevOps/Git, automated quality gates, unit
testing, and pipeline design. Experience in life sciences / medical
devices environments with GxP/CSV and SOX. Excellent communication,
design documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred
SAP certifications (e.g., S/4HANA Development, BTP Integration
Suite, Fiori). Experience with RISE with SAP, Cloud ALM, Focused
Build, and Solution Manager/ChaRM. Background in MDG, Group
Reporting, Product Costing integrations, or EWM/TM technical
objects. Exposure to event-driven architectures and
streaming/queueing platforms. Knowledge of Azure/AWS foundations
(networking, identity, secrets, monitoring) for hybrid deployments.
