Job Description:
Forterra is a leading manufacturer of pipe and products in the
U.S. and Eastern Canada for a variety of water-related
infrastructure applications, including water transmission,
distribution and drainage. The company generated pro forma net
sales of $1.3 billion in 2018. Based in Irving, Texas, Forterra
employs more than 5500 people and operates more than 85 facilities,
with products available throughout the U.S. and Eastern Canada.
Forterra seeking a Field Services Representative for its Waco, TX
or Austin, TX location.
Ability to work with contractors to gather information to help
production/dispatch schedule products for timely delivery. Make
field repairs in a safe manner and to meet ASTM specs and industry
standards. Job-site visits to help our contractors understand
product drawings to assure product is being installed correctly.
Working with our contractors/truck drivers when product is being
delivered to minimize breakage, stage product at the correct
location on site. Focus on safety and identify all potential
hazards and alleviate them from the situation. Perform special
events as well as job-site training/education to give our
contractors the knowledge to install product correctly.
