Partner with sector presidents and the vice president of human resources to design and implement key HR strategies across the business unit. Collaborate with operations leadership to address HR implications of policy and practice changes within the business.Strategic Activities

• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business goals.
• Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and retention of personnel.
• Build trusting relationships with business leaders across DSC North America, DHL Supply Chain, and DP DHL to foster collaboration and share best practices.
• Coordinate with DSC North America HR and other functions to consider local issues in strategy development.
• Stay informed about current affairs and assess their impact on the business across all sites and sectors.Employee Relations and Engagement
  • Develop strategies providing guidance to senior leadership on employee-related matters.
  • Lead initiatives to improve site climate and culture.Growth
    • Oversee training related to interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance reviews, safety, and harassment.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to HR leaders, actively listening and clarifying issues.
    • Manage staffing, succession planning, and employee programs.
    • Oversee training development and monitor effectiveness.
    • Drive startup support activities.Compliance
      • Develop procedures to measure and report HR compliance.
      • Ensure HR policies comply with regulations and best practices.
      • Oversee investigations and manage compensation, benefits, and performance systems compliance.Required Education and Experience
        • BS/BA in Human Resources or related field, or at least 7 years of HR experience.
        • Over 10 years of HR experience covering major functional areas.
        • Experience partnering with senior management.
        • Proven leadership in organizational change deployment.
        • Experience with HR metrics and in-depth labor law knowledge.
