    Trainer is a vital role in the daily operations of our facility. There are a variety of roles and responsibilities within this title. The role of a trainer will require using hand tools. The Trainer will perform on line job demonstrations that include some of the following tasks: handling aspects of: shaping and forming raw meat, cooking, bagging, weighing and boxing finished project, verifying quality and accuracy of products, all while making safety the number one priority. The trainer will also be responsible for facilitating new hire Alchemy trainings, ensuring that the employee and Health Services is completing the ramp in process and other duties as assigned. The Trainer will need to be able to read training material in English and will also need to be able to write and complete training paperwork in English. While performing the trainer duties, employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions with slippery surfaces; moving mechanical parts; fast pace, cold environment. Positions require standing and sitting throughout the shift and the use of PPE is required in all areas of the facility.
    Principal Accountabilities:
    • Perform computer trainings, demonstrate tasks to others, coach new hires, assist in techniques for line work
    • Using hand tools such as knives and other hand tools as needed
    • Handle raw or cooked meats, Weighing, labeling, bagging, packing and boxing correct finished product
    • Ensuring food safety and quality
    • Ensuring safety rules and procedures are followed
    • Cleanliness and housekeeping
      Required Qualifications:
      • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
      • Must be 18 years or older
      • Ability to read, write, and speak English
      • Ability to work in a cold or hot environment
      • Ability to handle meat products
        Preferred Qualifications:
        • Previous production experience
        • Previous Cargill experience
        • Work history in the past 12 months
        • Bilingual in English and Spanish
