In this position, you will leverage your cutting-edge expertise, philosophies, and insight for businesses to design next-generation Total Rewards and Operational programs to attract and retain the best talent globally. As a leader with vision, we will look to you to balance principles and pragmatism, steer through change, and drive continuous improvement throughout the company.In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be a strategic partner to Executive and HR Leadership, leading the strategy, design, teams, and execution for Total Rewards, Workforce Analytics and Technology, HR Service Center and Operations in Americas, and serve as subject matter expert on aligning similar programs and services globally.
  • Deploy Danaher's compensation structures including base and hourly pay, short and long-term incentives, aligned to Cepheid's business objectives and serving as change agent and innovator when solving for new total rewards challenges.
  • Design impactful reward/recognition programs, compensation analytics, tools and resources to meet changing business and talent climates.
  • Develop innovative solutions in the areas of HR technology, HR service delivery, and HR data analytics to meet needs of the organization and ensure outstanding operational excellence.
  • Develop the strategy, direction, and execution of workforce analytics to drive insights into actionable results.
  • Lead the strategy, development, and implementation of a centralized Human Resources service center in the US covering a broad area of focus including LOA, Wellness, life-cycle management, onboarding/offboarding, immigration, HR policy and compliance, mobility, and employee/labor relations.The essential requirements of the job include:
    • 10+ years progressively responsible experience leading and managing HR Operations teams and/or Total Rewards in mid-to-large sized, global corporations.
    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, Master's degree preferred
    • Broad understanding of the technical and functional components of total rewards, including: compensation, benefits, HRIS (Workday experience preferred) global payroll; compliance; planning; M&A due diligence and integration, employee communications; training and employee relations
    • Strong command of data analytics, measuring and using data to drive results, and strong communication and consultancy skills.
    • Up to 25% travel (International and Domestic) if remote and residence is outside of CA - must be willing to Travel 50-60%Preferred Competencies:
      • Certified Professional and/or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), and/or Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) prefrred or demonstrated technical acumen in lieu of certification
      • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written and communication skills to a variety of audiences.
      • Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but able to recognize and support the organization's preferences and priorities
      • Results oriented, self-starter with the ability to adapt to changing business environments
