Doctor of Medicine | Emergency Medicine Location: Gatesville, TX Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Contract Duration: 5 Days Start Date: ASAP About the Position We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 5-day assignment in Texas, starting May 1, 2026. This role involves critical access ER coverage, with shifts available for 12 or 24 hours, addressing a diverse patient demographic including trauma, pediatric, and geriatric cases. The physician will provide essential care in a Trauma Center. Responsibilities and Duties Provide critical access ER coverage. See patients in a Trauma Center. Manage a patient demographic including 20% Trauma, 30% Pediatric, and 25% Geriatric cases. Perform all lifesaving procedures, including Intubation, Extubation, Ventilation Management, comprehensive History & Physical exams, and manage Emergency Codes. Additional Information Board Certification in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine is required. EMR: Cerner.
