Job Description:
Ascension, a leading faith-based healthcare organization,
invites dedicated and compassionate nursing professionals to join
our team as a Registered Nurse in our Rehabilitation unit. At

the highest quality care to our patients. In this role, you will
work within our dynamic rehab team, aiding patients in their
journey to recovery from injuries, surgeries, or chronic
conditions. This position offers the opportunity to make a
meaningful impact on patient outcomes through personalized,
high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Assess patient condition by monitoring vital signs, symptoms, and
overall progress. Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored
to each patient’s needs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary
team. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed and
monitor responses. Educate patients and their families on injury or
disease-related processes, post-treatment home care needs, and
prevention techniques. Maintain patient records and document all
care provided accurately and comprehensively. Collaborate with
physicians and therapy staff to ensure optimal patient care and
support during their rehabilitation process. Advocate for patients’
needs and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
Proficient in using medical software for patient care management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work
effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
In-depth knowledge of safety protocols and infection control
standards. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of employment. Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN)
preferred.
