Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: Ongoing Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum Years of Experience: 1 year preferred License: Registered Nurse License required Certifications: ACLS BLS PALS Must-Have: Previous Charge Experience preferred Experience with Epic charting system required Community Hospital Experience preferred Trauma Level I and II Experience preferred Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse with expertise in Cardiovascular Operating Room settings. The nurse will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Candidates should be familiar with various surgical procedures including trauma stabilization, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, laparoscopic surgeries, total joint replacements, and more. Experience with infection control protocols and safety procedures related to surgical environments is essential. The role may include responsibilities such as patient education, monitoring patient vitals, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Participation in on-call duties, weekend shifts, and holiday coverage may be required. Candidates should demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Compliance with universal protocols and time-out procedures is mandatory.
