ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - MICU Job Details: • Work rotating weekend schedule in the Medical ICU • 36 guaranteed hours per week • 13-week assignment length • No call requirements • 2 years MICU/MSICU experience required • BLS and ACLS certifications required • CCRN certification preferred • Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted) • Meditech experience preferred • Work with all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors • Participate in central line placements, bedside procedures like thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations, and all other ICU procedures • Assignments made according to patient acuity and nursing skills • Documentation in Meditech system • Floating as needed per hospital policy • Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required, no artificial nails, neat and clean hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer, body art covered when possible, visible piercings other than ears prohibited Facility: This healthcare facility features a comprehensive Medical Intensive Care Unit equipped with state-of-the-art technology and advanced life support equipment.
