Associate's degree Applied Science Req Or Other completion of
accredited program in cardiovascular technology Must obtain RCIS
within 6 months of hire Req Or H.S. Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years
work experience in invasive cardiology Req /n Experience 1 Year
vascular or cardiac angiography Pref or 2 Years required with high
school diploma Req /n Licenses and Certifications ARRT - American
Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req And GMRT -
General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref
Or RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain
within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program
Upon Hire Req And LMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If
RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref Or RCES - Registered Cardiac
Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only
Upon Hire Req And BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to
providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And CPI - Crisis
Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req /n
