Registered Nurse (RN) | Operating Room Location: Arlington, TX Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,101 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified OR RN in Arlington, Texas, 76015! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8.5 hours (06:15 - 14:45) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active certification/licensure Certifications: BLS for techs, BLS & ACLS for RNs Must-Have: Cardiac rhythm interpretation and identification, Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, Team player, Professional demeanor. Description: The unit has a total of 28 beds. There are 14 Preoperative and 14 Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) beds, as well as 6 Operating Rooms and 5 Procedure/GI Rooms. The nursing staff consists of over 55 members. Day shift volume and case specialty depend on staffing for Preoperative RNs, PACU RNs, PACU Patient Care Technicians, GI RNs, GI technicians, Certified Surgical Technologists, Operating Room RNs, and X-ray technicians. Night shift patient ratios are 2:1 in PACU and 1:1 in Preoperative areas. Equipment usage is area-specific. The electronic medical record system utilized is NOT specified. Most recruited skills: BLS for technicians and BLS & ACLS for registered nurses, Active certification and licensure, Cardiac rhythm interpretation and identification, Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment, A collaborative team-oriented approach. Preferred skills include: Experience with gastrointestinal procedures. Typical procedures performed include: Gastrointestinal procedures such as EGD and Colonoscopy, Orthopedic surgeries including total joints, General surgery, Podiatry, Gynecological surgery, Urological procedures, Pain management cases. The ideal candidate will be helpful, professional, and service-oriented. Scrubs attire for Preoperative/PACU staff is black, while GI and Operating Room staff will wear blue scrubs provided by the facility. There are no weekend or on-call requirements. The expected work schedule is 5 days per week, with 8-10 hour shifts.
