Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 07/21/2025 - Duration: 52 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days, nights - Employment Type: Local Contract Title: RN Novice Cardiac PCU Location: Temple, TX 36 Hours/Week Both Day & Night Shifts Available Myocardial Infarction Coronary Artery Bypass Pre/Post Heart Transplant Patients Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement Percutaneous Trans-luminal coronary angioplasty Chest Pain Congestive Heart Failure Vascular surgery Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Invasive Hemodynamic Monitoring Certifications: Ventricular Assistive Device Program, Chest Pain Center, Comprehensive Stroke Program, Transplant Program, ACLS/NIH within 6 months, Requirements of the Ideal Candidate: · Graduate of RN School of Nursing · ADN required; BSN preferred · Must be licensed to practice professional nursing by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas · Minimum 18 Months of RN experience, Acute Care or Hospital setting preferred · Basic Life Support (BLS) Required. Qualifications You should have completed a program from a recognized institution or have at least 2 years of related professional experience. Your major should be in Nursing. Some professional experience in the field is appreciated, even if it's less than a year. Registered Nurse. Basic life support (BLS).
