SummaryAdministers anesthetic care for the purpose of facilitating diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical procedures.Responsibilities

• Performs and documents a pre-anesthetic assessment and evaluation of the patient.
• Develops and implements an anesthetic plan of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
• Selects, obtains and administers the anesthetic plan of care, including induction, maintenance and emergence phase anesthesia.EducationRequired: Graduation from an accredited School of anesthesia approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists.ExperienceRequired: Must have 2 years of clinical experience working in a physician officeCertificationsRequired: Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists. Valid Nursing License or compact state license and ability to become Licensed in applicable state within 30 days.
