About the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Dell Medical School is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, high-acuity surgical care while advancing innovation in clinical practice, education, and research. Our team provides the full continuum of care for patients with complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions, in close collaboration with partners across critical care, cardiology, and anesthesiology.We have particular expertise in:

• Complex aortic surgery, including open and hybrid approaches to thoracic aortic aneurysms and dissections.
• Cardiogenic shock, with robust integration of temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support including extra-corporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO).
• Heart transplantation and advanced heart failure therapies.Our department is committed to:

About the Adult Intensivist Position Dell Medical School is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Critical Care Physician to join the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery.
