TravelNurseSource is working with GQR Healthcare to find a qualified Psych RN in Waco, Texas, 76708 Pay Information $2,006 per week About The Position Job Title: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (Mid Shifts) We're seeking a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team in Waco, TX, providing care to teenagers with emotional or behavioral difficulties. This full---time role involves mid---shifts from 2:00 pm --- 10:30 pm. Responsibilities: --- Deliver direct patient care in a psychiatric setting. --- Collaborate with healthcare professionals. --- Document patient data in the EMR. --- Administer medications to up to 24 individuals. Requirements: --- Active Texas RN License. --- AHA BLS Certification. --- 2 years of direct care nursing experience. --- Experience in hospital acute care, LTC, community clinics, public health (Home Health or School Nurse experience not applicable). --- Experience with Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities preferred. --- Ability to float per unit need. Preferred: --- Psychiatric setting experience. --- Experience with a larger med pass.
