CareOnSite, a division of Tang & Company which provides occupational medical services nationwide, has an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with strong clinical, computer and multi-tasking skills.

Medical Assistant (MA)

Job requirements include but are not limited to the following:

• Administers physical exams including vision, hearing, vitals, respiratory fit testing, drug and alcohol testing, and other testing as needed
• Performs basic lab tests and prepares specimens, administers medication and injections, performs blood draws, splinting, application of dressings
• Performs daily exam room and stock inspection, ensure supplies are adequate for patient care
• Assists attending medical provider during examinations and procedures
• Administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering phone, maintaining patient charts
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations pertaining to professional certification, patient confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA, treatment and safety guidelines
• COVID duties - temperatures screens, questionnaire, vital signs, testing
• Performs other front and back-office duties as assigned Qualifications
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant (MA) course from an accredited/recognized school
  • Medical Assistant (MA) certificate consistent with requirements specified by the State Medical Board
  • Current BCLS with AED certificates
  • Clinical experience is a plus
