We leverage education, capital, and partnerships to build a more inclusive economy.We are launching IV Capital, a new integrated capital fund that blends grants, debt, and equity to support small businesses and entrepreneurs historically excluded from traditional financial systems. As we scale this initiative, we're seeking a strategic and visionary Director of Integrated Capital to lead the design, development, and deployment of our capital products and fund strategy.Position Summary:The Managing Director will lead all aspects of capital deployment through our emerging Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) and investment fund. This includes designing and managing innovative financial products (grants, loans, equity), overseeing underwriting and portfolio management, cultivating investor relationships, and ensuring alignment with our mission and impact goals.This role requires a unique blend of financial expertise, impact investing insight, strategic leadership, and community-centered thinking.Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate and manage relationships with impact investors, foundations, banks, and other capital providers.
• Prepare compelling impact reports, investor updates, and capital stack presentations.
• Lead capital-raising initiatives for both philanthropic and investment capital.Fund Strategy & Administration
  • Lead the implementation of an integrated capital strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design and structure capital products (loan funds, equity vehicles, grant funds) to support diverse small business needs.
  • Lead all compliance process and ensure regulatory compliance related to CDFI, SBA, SSBCI, etc.
  • Oversee the origination, underwriting, deployment, and servicing of loans and investments.
  • Develop and manage internal systems for financial diligence, risk assessment, and deal pipeline management.
  • Maintain a healthy and mission-aligned investment portfolio while balancing financial return and social impact.QualificationsRequired:
    • Minimum 7+ years of experience in community development finance, impact investing, CDFI lending, venture capital, or a related field.
    • Demonstrated experience in capital product design and fund operations.
    • Strong understanding of underwriting, risk management, and capital deployment strategies.
    • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
    • Proven commitment to equity, inclusion, and supporting historically underserved communities.Preferred:
      • Experience working in or with a CDFI or impact investment fund.
      • Knowledge of public and private capital sources (e.g., CRA, PRI, NMTC, ARPA, etc.).
      • Experience with fund modeling, structuring blended capital stacks, and developing financial models.
      • MBA, MPA, or related advanced degree preferred.What We Offer
