Responsibilities
Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for an Associate Account
Manager. This position - reporting directly to the Inside Sales &
Distribution Manager - is responsible for the development,
qualification and distribution of sales leads generated from market
research, incoming web inquiries, and inbound phone inquiries.
Additional duties will include distribution reporting, CRM support,
Waco demo tool management, among others. This position will be
based in our Waco, TX plant.
Role and Responsibilities
- Inside Sales
- Qualify leads, establish contact, identify, analyze, and design
appropriate offers of product to new and existing customers,
applications, and market segments
- Leads penetration efforts directed toward new business target
accounts and/or industry segments
- Identify new business opportunities and track sales progress
towards objectives
- Maintain all new/current leads in Quickbase/CRM and assign to
the respective Account Manager and/or Partner
- Responsible for the coverage and penetration of new
accounts/markets and the implementation of sales
strategies
- Implements sales and promotional programs, new product
information, and related efforts directed towards a new industry or
market
- Manage our website sales live chat feature to drive new
prospect opportunities
- Responsible for maintaining the Global Quote Tracking
system
- Distribution
- Responsible for Partner/Distributor reporting - monthly,
quarterly, yearly
- Coordinate all Partner/Distributor requests - samples,
training, tooling
- Coordinate all Account Manager requests - fasteners &
tooling
- Collaborate with the Distribution Manager to develop, amend,
and/or grow current and new Partner/Distributor strategies
- Collaborate with Distribution Manager to develop and deploy
distributor pricing levels to equip and motivate various levels and
types of distributors
- Work with the Pricing Coordinator on Partner monthly
commissions
- General Sales & Marketing
- Support all marketing efforts for HFS Industrial Fastener
Products, maximizing overall market share and profitability while
reducing costs.
- Assist in development & implementation of a strategic
professional social media campaign
- Handling of Sales & Marketing general expenses
- Coordinate all HFS trade memberships & show activities
including booking, setup, & expenses
- Other general marketing duties to be assigned in the future
,Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required.
That degree is preferred to be in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a
closely-related discipline
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United
States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at
the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this
position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms
Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines
U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green
Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Sales
Administration activities in an organization producing precision
industrial products.
Skills
Basic:
- Solid planning, organizing, and implementation skills
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
to deliver business concepts in a clear and compelling
manner.
- Ability to work independently, prioritizing and completing
multiple work assignments in diverse fields with minimal
direction.
- Ability to gain cooperation from individuals at all levels of
HFS and customer organizations.
Preferred:
- Technical knowledge of industrial fastener and installation
tooling products
- Working understanding of industrial fastener
manufacturing
- Specialized sales and lead management skills
- Ability to analyze, qualify, quantify, and close sales
leads
- Advanced knowledge of Quickbase, SalesForce, or any CRM
program
- Excellent prospecting skills
