Sendero is looking for an Art Director who will be responsible for the creative planning, concept, design, and execution of all, but not limited to, Sendero artwork, digital graphics, print, and implementation on products. These roles and responsibilities will work closely, often co-dependently with the CEO/Creative Director, Director of Photography, Product Designer, and other relevant teams. The position will be based in Waco, TX and will be required to work Monday through Friday at our HQ. This is a director level position, and the individual filling this role will potentially be responsible for managing employees, interns, and contractors; therefore, leadership and communication skills are necessary.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Design, development, and production of all graphic or artwork assets for campaigns including, but not limited to, social media, digital ads, email, event, retail, print, signage, branding, and seasonal product.
Make decisions and drive adoption of ideas, practices, and creativity that elevate our approach to campaigns while raising the broader team's awareness of what's required to make great use of campaign opportunities.
Design, development, and execution of artwork for products including, but not limited to packaging, hats, shirts, t-shirts, outerwear, bandanas, pins, patches and stickers, prints, and future development.
Assistance when necessary with product concept, design, tech packs, development, and sourcing.
Assistance when necessary with photo planning and execution.
Assistance when necessary with merchandising in both web and retail.
Potential assistance on the warehouse floor during peak seasons.
Elevating and expanding our product offering, selection, quality, and detail with every season.
Upkeep and design assistance with website and web presence.
Presenting to and collaborating with other teams to achieve seasonal, annual, and future goals.
Requirements:
BFA in graphic design or equivalent.
5+ years experience as a designer in the apparel industry or equivalent.
Excellent design skills.
Strong command of typography.
Thorough knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Basic understanding of men's apparel and trends.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized, self motivated, and detail-oriented.
Able to handle multiple projects, under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy.
Must be flexible and quickly adapt to changes while meeting demanding schedules.
Open to travel.

Job Type: Full-time
Competitive Base Pay
Employee Simple IRA with 2% base match
Medical Plan Option
1% Gross Profit Share (Team Based)
APPROX TOTAL COMPENSATION: $68,000- $80,000+
