ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:

  • Provide administrative and clerical support; answer telephones, take and distribute messages, interview direct callers, schedule appointments; obtain and type admission data from the resident's family, process mail and ensure that the office and office machines are maintained in a clean and safe manner.
  • Assist with processing of payroll; make new time cards for all employees at the end of each pay period; obtain verification of all overtime reported; submit payroll at the end of each pay period; obtain written authorization for all miscellaneous payroll deductions; distribute paychecks.
  • Assist with the preparation and administration of employee files and assist in employee benefit administration and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with the processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and bank deposits.
  • Understand, comply with, and promote all rules regarding residents' rights; promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, regulators and employees, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Other duties as assigned.SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must possess a high school diploma or otherwise be able to read, write, and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job.
  • Must be able to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
  • Must maintain regular attendance.
  • Must meet all local health regulations, and successfully complete a post-offer health assessment.
  • Must have knowledge of office machines and equipment and must be able to type at least 45 words per minute and use 10-key calculator.
  • Must perform the essential functions of this job.
