described.PurposeThis position will be mainly responsible for
animal management and neuronal culture.Responsibilities
- Supports animal management and experiments, including animal
breeding, genotyping, surgery, post-operative monitoring, and
behavioral studies.
- Performs cell culture work, includingprimaryneuronal
culturing.
- Manages lab operations, including organizing lab meetings,
ordering supplies, coordinating lab cleaning, and ensuring smooth
lab operations in compliance with relevant safety regulations and
guideline (depending on needs).
- Performs molecular engineering work, including doing maxiprep
of DNA plasmids (depending on needs).Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with two years of experience or Master's
degree.Relevant education and experience may be substituted as
appropriate.Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge/degree in neuroscience or biomedical field
- Experience in animal works related to brain/nervous
system.
- Experience in primary neuronal cultureSalary Range$45,000 -
$65,000Working Conditions
- Uniforms and/or personal protection equipment (furnished).
