Position: Devops EngineerLocation: RemoteDuration: 6+ Months
Do you enjoy watching or playing sports? Want to change the way people watch Live Sports? Passionate about supporting and operating massively scalable systems?
This role involves regular communication with operational teams and engineering teams across Prime Video, as well as the need to engage with director, and VP level management on onboarding/live event issues and risks. If you're excited about helping to build the future of live sports streaming or just want to have fun talking about sports and creating something you can be proud to show your family and friends, reach out. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Able to solve problems and write syntactically correct code using a widely adopted scripting language (e.g. Python, Typescript/Javascript, Java, C#, C++, C, Ruby, Go)
  • Strong technical communication and fluency in computer science vocabulary
  • Experience with AWS services and/or CLI
  • Experience deploying code or using source control pipelines to deploy and execute software on remote hardware

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent certificates or experience
    • Experience constructing or deciphering metrics, SLAs and uptime of critical, 24x7 systems
    • Interest in analyzing and optimizing high throughput, multi-threaded systems
    • Fluency in at least one programming language
