Plano 1 (31061), United States of America, Plano, Texas Platform Engineer We are looking for an experienced software engineering technologist who is passionate about software development and automation that wants to be part of the team providing a centrally supported portfolio of scaled, integrated services in our cloud-hosted infrastructure. The role resides within a highly motivated, fast-paced team composed of engineers tasked with providing enterprise CI/CD tools that are used by software developers, quality engineers, data analysts and other technology users across Capital One. What You'll Do: Contribute to a portfolio of diverse technology projects with distributed microservices and full stack systems to create solutions that help meet regulatory needs for the company Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal and external technology communities, mentoring other members of the engineering community, and be asked to code or evaluate code as needed Collaborate with digital product managers, and deliver robust cloud-based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment Work with cloud platforms and use the latest technologies Basic Qualifications: At least 2 years of experience with SQL scripting At least 2 years of experience in software development ( Python , Java , or Go ) Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience with at least one of the following reporting/business intelligence tools: PowerBI, Tableau, or Alteryx 2 years of experience with at least one of the following public cloud platforms: Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure 2 years of experience working with Agile practices At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position.
