About the Role We are seeking a Director of Education to support the School Director and Director of Education in overseeing the daily operations of our early education center. This is a classroom-focused leadership position—you’ll spend about 80% of your time in early learning classrooms, modeling best practices and coaching teachers. The remaining time is dedicated to administrative tasks, data analysis, and planning professional development. Job Responsibilities Conduct classroom observations and create behavior intervention plans Mentor teachers on curriculum, lesson planning, and assessments Lead professional development sessions in collaboration with Spiritual Development Rotate between centers to provide on-site coaching and support Track and analyze academic and behavioral data to inform strategies Ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation standards Have Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Physical Requirements Active classroom environment: frequent sitting, standing, kneeling, bending Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs as needed Maintain clear visual and auditory supervision of children Schedule Full-time, Monday–Friday Flexibility required based on program needs Requirements: High school diploma or GED Applicants must hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or higher, such as an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field. Must meet minimum education and experience requirements as set by HHSC/DFPS Ability to pass background checks and meet medical requirements for caregivers Maintain current certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED If transporting children, must hold a valid Class C driver’s license and complete annual transportation training Preferred Qualifications Prior early childhood teaching experience Experience in a leadership or management role in a licensed childcare setting Ready to Lead With Purpose?
