Job Description Job Description Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1 years Educational Diagnostician experience required. A K-12 Educational Diagnostician position is available for a maternity leave contract from late February through late May in Irving, TX. This itinerant role focuses on supporting diverse student needs across multiple grade levels within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: - Administer and interpret standardized assessments to identify cognitive, academic, and behavioral challenges. - Evaluate student data to determine eligibility for special education services in compliance with IDEA guidelines. - Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings to contribute to the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to monitor student progress and recommend appropriate behavioral and instructional accommodations. - Use data-driven strategies to suggest targeted, research-based interventions addressing identified learning gaps. Desired Qualifications: - Experience with formal educational assessments and special education eligibility processes. - Strong understanding of individualized programming and IDEA regulations. - Excellent communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams. - Ability to analyze data to inform intervention planning and student support. - Flexibility to serve in an itinerant capacity across K-12 settings.
