Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school-based speech-language pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide full-time support for K-12 students in Arlington, TX. This contract role covers several schools with caseloads ranging from 8 to 85 students. The ideal candidate will hold an active state license and be ready to begin as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities: - Provide speech-language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders - Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families - Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions - Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and consultations with school staff - Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to special education and therapy services Qualifications: - Active state license as a speech-language pathologist - Preference for SLPs with CCC certification; candidates who are clinical fellows must have supervision arrangements established prior to start date (supervision cannot be provided by the district) - Experience working within school settings, ideally with a K-12 caseload - Ability to work onsite at assigned school locations Locations and Caseloads: - Old Settlers Elementary: 40 K-5 students - Southridge Elementary: 8 K-5 students - Durham Middle School: 65 students - Hebron High School/Hebron 9: 85 students Employment Details: - Contract position for the current school year (CSY) - Full-time, 40 hours per week - Onsite work required at designated school sites This is an excellent opportunity for speech-language pathologists seeking a dynamic role within diverse educational settings.
