Job Description Job Description Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years Behavior Therapy experience. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply specialized skills as a Registered Behavior Technician within a K-12 school environment located in Fort Worth, TX. The position focuses on supporting students with moderate to severe needs, including one student with cerebral palsy who requires physical assistance and exhibits both verbal and physical aggression. This itinerant role provides a flexible schedule with varying start and end times, accommodating a range of daily responsibilities throughout the contract school year. Key Responsibilities: Deliver behavior intervention services to students with moderate to severe disabilities. Provide 1:1 support as needed, particularly for students requiring close assistance. Conduct SEL training and facilitate reset opportunities to support student success and behavioral regulation. Safely lift, transfer, and reposition students and related equipment, ensuring physical safety and comfort. Collaborate with educational and behavioral staff to implement individualized plans. Qualifications: Current Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required. Previous experience working in K-12 school settings with students presenting moderate to severe behavioral challenges. Ability to manage students with physical disabilities, including wheelchair-bound individuals. Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and social-emotional learning. Flexibility to adapt to itinerant scheduling and varying daily start and end times.
