seeking a skilled and experienced Sales Assistant to join our team
and support our Sales team/function. Position Overview Fast
growing, private equity backed manufacturing business is seeking a
Finance Director with a proven track record that can operate in a
fast-moving environment. As the Finance Director, you will report
directly to the President/CEO and be responsible for overseeing
financial management and reporting, ensuring compliance with
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and providing
strategic financial guidance to support our company's aggressive
objectives. You will work closely with our executive team,
auditors, and cross-functional departments to maintain the highest
standards of financial integrity and transparency.
Responsibilities: Partner with the CEO and senior management team
to oversee the development of strategic planning, including annual
budgets. Responsible for timely, accurate and efficient monthly
accounting close. Ensure accuracy of the physical inventory and
reported results. Investigate and explain book to physical
adjustments. Manages accounting functions on a day-to-day basis
including invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable,
payroll, treasury management, procurement and general ledger
accounting. Enhances accounting department's use of software and
integrates software into accounting processes and procedures.
Performs technical accounting issue research and resolution as
necessary; Assists the President/CEO with preparation and
completion of the fiscal year budgeting process, evaluates business
unit performance against budget, and develops forecasts/reforecasts
to provide an accurate projection of financial performance
Supervises the preparation of the monthly management financial
reporting package, including variance analysis. Reporting of
operational data to key members of leadership team, including key
metrics on inventory. Coordinates the creation of periodic Board of
Directors reporting packages. Manages the annual financial audit
process performed by our independent CPA firm. Develops, analyzes,
documents and implements internal controls. Seeks opportunities to
revise or create new policies and procedures to improve efficiency
and effectiveness of the accounting group. Responsible for local,
state and federal tax compliance and reporting (including property
and sales tax, tax compliance and reporting). Manages preparation
of regulatory filings. Manages debt covenant reporting. Establishes
and implements short and long-range accounting department goals,
objectives, policies and procedures. Manages projects and
initiatives as assigned. Responsible for all other duties as
assigned. Requirements: Requirements: 10 years of financial
leadership experience, ideally as the Finance Director of a private
equity backed business. Experience with ERP implementation
required. NetSuite preferred Extensive experience with cash and
working capital management and forecasting, strong technical (GAAP)
accounting skills, and management reporting. Experience with
acquisition integration in a fast-growing organization. An
undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a
related field; an MBA and/or CPA is a plus. Collaborative team
player with excellent communication skills and leadership
capabilities. Excellent analytical mind with a drive towards
creating, understanding, and communicating complex data and putting
it to use in growing companies. Working Conditions Manufacturing or
production environment with occasional exposure to noise, etc.
Ability to travel occasionally as required Location: Remote, with
several days a week of travel to Rhome, TX and/or Graham, TX,
facilities as well - Hybrid on-site and remote, with more in-office
time required in the first 3-6 months to get acclimated and
responsibilities transitioned. Job Type: Full-time, salary position
