Job Description: The Role Are you a professional who possesses
strong analytical, organizational, communication, cross team

regulations and operational demands? We are looking for a Director
of Valuations who will serve as a senior leader responsible for
ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and defensibility of daily
security pricing and valuation across Fidelity’s full suite of
products. You will oversee complex valuation activities: including,
equities, fixed income, alternatives, and a broad range of
derivative instruments, while driving operational excellence and
strengthening Fidelity’s valuation control framework. You will lead
multiple valuation teams and serve as a strategic partner to senior
leadership across Fund Accounting, Portfolio Management, Risk,
Compliance, Alternative Investments, and other critical operational
groups. This role requires deep analytical expertise, strong
judgment, cross-functional influence, and the ability to thrive in
a dynamic environment with evolving regulatory, operational, and
market demands. Success in this role requires the ability to
connect valuation theory with operational execution, build strong
partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and lead
teams through complex, time-sensitive decision-making to ensure
accurate, timely NAV production for Fidelity shareholders. Key
Responsibilities Leadership & Strategic Oversight • Provide
strategic leadership across all valuation activities, ensuring
adherence to valuation policy, regulatory expectations, model
governance requirements, and industry best practices. • Shape and
execute long-term operational strategy for Valuations, including
automation, controls enhancement, and application modernization. •
Oversee onboarding of new instruments (including complex
derivatives, private markets, and other alternative investments),
ensuring risk assessment, control design, and operational readiness
are completed prior to launch. • Serve as senior escalation
authority for valuation matters, exercising sound judgment under
tight deadlines during daily NAV production cycles. • Build, lead,
and develop high-performing teams, cultivating technical
excellence, critical thinking, and an inclusive environment.
Derivative Valuation Responsibilities • Provide quantitative and
qualitative leadership for all derivative valuation activities,
including futures, options, swaps, FX instruments, structured
notes, and OTC derivatives. • Assess the valuation implications of
new derivative products, ensuring the organization has appropriate
pricing sources, valuation models, data inputs, and control
procedures. • Partner with Risk, Product, Technology, and
Investment teams to evaluate pricing models, validation methods,
and key assumptions for derivative instruments. • Ensure daily
derivative valuations are accurate, supportable, and aligned with
policy—including fair value assessments for illiquid or
hard-to-price positions. • Lead efforts to enhance derivative
valuation transparency, model documentation, and support provided
to auditors, risk committees, and regulators. Operational Execution
& Control Framework • Provide oversight and direction for pricing
validation procedures, exception monitoring, anomaly detection, and
fair value governance. • Ensure all valuation outputs meet
regulatory, fiduciary, and audit standards while supporting timely,
high-quality NAV dissemination. • Integrate data and insights
across Fund Accounting, Market Data, Portfolio Management, Custody,
Investment Operations, and valuation vendors to ensure complete,
accurate pricing. • Partner with technology teams on system
enhancements, prioritizing automation, data quality improvements,
and risk-reducing workflows. Stakeholder Partnership &
Communication • Maintain strong relationships with key senior
partners, ensuring expectations, service levels, and accountability
are met or exceeded. • Develop and deliver concise, insightful
presentations to senior leaders—including valuation trends, risk
indicators, and strategic recommendations. • Represent Valuations
in cross-firm initiatives, risk forums, product governance
committees, and audit/regulatory engagements. The Expertise and
Skills You Bring • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced
degree strongly preferred. • Extensive financial services
experience, including deep exposure to security pricing, valuation
controls, and mutual fund operations. • Advanced knowledge of
equity, fixed income, derivative, and alternative asset valuation
methodologies across US and European markets. • Demonstrated
expertise in derivative valuation and the ability to guide teams
through complex, judgment-based pricing decisions. • Strong
analytical, problem-solving, and anomaly-detection skills with the
ability to synthesize complex data into clear recommendations. •
Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to
influence senior stakeholders and deliver high-impact
presentations. • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize
multiple demands, and lead teams under pressure in a fast-moving
environment. • Strong leadership presence, mentorship capabilities,
and the ability to cultivate a highly engaged, inclusive, and

Team is part of Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO),
within the Fund Operations division. The broader division includes
Fund Accounting, Valuations, Alternative Investments, and Expense
Billing & Treasury Operations. Together, these groups provide
pricing, accounting, and NAV oversight for all Fidelity Retail and
Institutional products, including ETFs, supporting multiple asset
managers such as FMR, SAI, GEODE, and FIC. Fund Operations consists
of approximately 290 associates located primarily in Merrimack, NH
and Westlake, TX, all dedicated to delivering accurate, timely, and
high-quality NAV and valuation services. FFIOALTS Fidelityalts

Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every
other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does
