You’ll play a key role in protecting both customers and the business by resolving complex account issues such as bankruptcies, deceased estates, and regulatory compliance matters. LOCATION: Fort Worth, TX | Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote after training) COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE • $19–$21/hour (Based on experience) • 10a-7p Mon-Thurs, 8a-5p Fri KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage deceased account portfolios, including Deceased No Probate (DNP) cases, through to resolution Handle inbound and outbound communications regarding sensitive financial accounts Administer Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA) protections and ensure full regulatory compliance Process exception cases via mail, email, and internal case management systems Monitor payoff funding for approved manufacturer buybacks and validate legal documentation Ensure accurate handling of bankruptcy-related accounts under federal and state law MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 2 years of collections experience (auto, financial, or specialty portfolios) required Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to manage sensitive financial information with accuracy Effective at multi-tasking and meeting strict deadlines in a compliance-driven environment CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS Case management platforms Microsoft Excel and Outlook Internal reporting software Regulatory tools (SCRA, FDCPA databases) PREFERRED SKILLS Bankruptcy or specialty collections experience Familiarity with estate accounts and legal financial documentation Working knowledge of FDCPA and SCRA regulations This Collections Specialist opportunity is ideal for someone who thrives in a detailed, compliance-driven environment and wants to grow within a team that values accuracy, accountability, and integrity.
